1. I do respect her. We used to date years ago, now we're friends (although not so close ones).

2. SHE told me these: she's 29 now, and in these 29 years she has slept with more than 35 guys, and her longest relationship lasted only for 1 year. She used to be a lover of a husband (who had a wife and 2 children..), and she's got a very very phlegmatic personality type.

I do not judge her because of the above, I really like her.

I like her as a friend and.... as a girl who I want to have sex with.

I wanted to ask her to have sex with me i.e. to be friends with benefits, but I didn't want it to be demanding or agressive:

me: - I want to ask something... but I'm not sure if I should...

her: - what is the question?

me: - well, it is rather embarassing, the question involves you, and I've been thinking about it a lot.. and the problem is I don't know how to ask it euphemistically, otherwise you'd probably slap me on the face...

her: - you want to ask if I would have sex with you?

me: - you're not paltering... :) yes, something like that.

her: - I just thought I'd save you from euphemism...

Then a week later or so... I asked her directly: " So... regarding my question: I like you very much, and I'm also attracted to you sexually... There's someting "je ne sais quoi" in you... :) I think our friendship could handle some casual sex... ;) What do you think?"

And there's no answer from her so far... for like half a day or so.
