Can you take methadone and Darvocet together?

I know a scientific basis for the answer to this question is the best possible way to answer it, my response is from experience. i have taken three somas about five hours ago and two lines of Meth and hours have gone by and im fine. God willing i will remain this way.

IF your doctor has prescribed the medicines to be taken together, than it is most likely ok. It all really depends on the doses and your tolerance. some people can tolerate 15-30mg of morphine sulfate extended release with 350mg of Soma. If you are taking regular morphine with Tylenol your body may react differently. The best you can do is have someone monitor you while you are taking the medications. I do not advise this if it is for a recreational use. You would not know your tolerance to the medications and could go into respiratory failure and die.

Ask a friend or family member to stay with you for the duration of the medication life. For example most regular hydromorphine tabs 2 or 4 mg lst 4-6hrs. Soma can last anywhere from 8-12 hrs. If taking extended relief morphine have someone with your for 12 hrs. Someone who is awake. They need to watch for trouble breathing. acting overly lethargic. extreme weakness. also if they cannot wake you. or your pulse rate slows down to much such as anything below 45 bpm, ( or anything that is way below your resting heart rate) Any of these reactions you need to go right to the ER.

you can take them together but be very careful, the somas WILL intensify the methadone!!!!
