Yes you can take these two together. Darvocet is a mild opiate and Naproxen is an anti-inflammitory. These will actually work well if taken together. Stay away from Tylenol (Acetametaphin) when taking Darvocet since Darvocet already contains Acetmetaphin.

Always check with your doctor first, I was prescribed Naproxen 500mg and Propoxyphene N 100/APAP 650mg together. According to this website http://www.drugdigest.org/DD/Interaction/ChooseDrugs/1,4109,,00.html there are no interactions but each body chemistry is different. Also, as with anything with large amounts of Acetaminophen try to schedule a annual appointment so that you can be sure your liver is not being damaged.

You could take these together. Darvon is plain propoxyphene without any anti-inflammatory drugs added. Darvocet is Darvon plus Tylenol; you can see that Darvon does combine with other pain killers without problems. Just remember that naproxen is harsh on the stomach. Have some food before you take it!

Yes. Take them both at the minimum directed dosages. Repeat no more than every 8 hours. Talk to your doctor about it
