I wouldn't, no. Some say you can change them out right away but generally it's best not to tinker with a new piercing for at least a few weeks until it has healed to the point where you can switch the jewelry out safely. And if you began with studs, stay with studs, or lightweight captive bead rings that are easy to clean and maintain.

How long does it take a cartilage ear piercing to close up after 2 months of being pierced?

Very quickly. You're not even meant to change the jewellery until 3 months, so it wont be healed properly yet. As it is cartilage and there is no blood, when you take the stud out the hole will start to close immediately and it may hurt to get the stud in after a few minutes, so it would probably only take about a week or so?

Is it safe to take out your Monroe piercing after almost 2 weeks after it being pierced and change it to a different one?

No its not. If its too long of a stud to the point that it gets hit too often and irritates the piercing, have your piercer look at it and put something smaller in. You don't want to change it yourself until its fully healed.

How do you take the butterfly back off a nose stud?

well, the same way you get any other earring backs off. :) if your ears are newly pierced wait for at least three to four weeks before you change earrings. if it has been six to eight weeks already, it has probably healed already. if you want to be "extra safe", hold the stud at the front (which is probably what it is), and just pull the back off. :D hope that helped!

How do you change the rear stud on a 2001 Acura 3.2 CL Type S?

If by stud you mean wheel stud you have to remove the bearing and have a shop take it out or rent a press and press it out yourself because wheel studs are pressed onto the wheel bearing.

How do you change a rear wheel stud on a au?

On most vehicles you take off the tire, put the lug nut back on the stud and drive it out with a hammer . When you put the new stud in you can line it up and drive it in with a hammer or pull it through with a few washers and the new nut.

How do you insert nose piercing?

i got my nose pierced yesterday and the woman used a piercing gun ( i know she shouldn't have) and told me to take it out in two days and change it, because they one she used to put in wasn't an actual nose stud it was a straight earring. i took it out and tried to hook a stud in but my nose was all swelled so i had to straighten it out, what do i do? HELP PLEASE :( Whoa. There is SO much wrong with this picture. Any decent piercer wouldn't tell you to change initial jewelry that soon. Tats just asking for infection. Go to a professional and see what they can do. Chances are that you can purchase legit nose jewelry from them and they can tell you how to care for it properly. Never get pierced with a gun EVER again.

How long does it take to get your nose pierced?

all they do is, clean the side of the nose you want piercing with a antiseptic wipe and they also clean the inside. They then draw a little dot on your nose, ask you to look into a mirror and imagine it's a nose stud and ask you if you think your happy with where it is, the then take the needle quickly pop it in where the dot is then put a nose stud in for you after, the actual piercing itself takes about 35 seconds.

How do you change the lug bolts on a Chevrolet Lumina?

take a punch and a hammer and punch out the wheel stud from the front, then slide the new stud in from the rear. take a lugnut and thread on the new stud and tighten down with a 19mm impact socket till very tight. It would also be easier if you remove brake caliper, caliper bracket and rotor.
