Posters are large visual aids. People will look at posters when they go to a movie, stand in line at a restaurant, wait on a concert to start. There are many advantages of advertising with posters.

If someone wants to start collecting concert posters they first need to decide what the theme of their collection is going to be. It could be a particular band or it could be an era. They then need to look out for posters that match on places such as eBay and buy what they can.
Jefferson airplane concert posters from 1967 are selling for around $10 for a reproduction and $80 for an original. Signed posters are valued around $150-$175. All priced posters are near mint to mint condition.

Rare vintage concert posters can be a terrific piece of artwork, but are hard to come by. Often times, individual holders of these products may have them for sale to raise funds, and eBay may be a site where one can find some of them. In addition, there are a few online sites which specialize in the sale of vintage posters. One may also be able to obtain reproduction or replica vintage posters, though these will be more useful as wall art than as a financial investment, as their resale value may be extremely low.
