Generally, no. You would tell your probation officer so they could document what you are taking. If a drug test comes up positive and the prescription drug can explain it then the positive result will be disregarded. Now that said, if you are on probation for abusing or selling prescription drugs, I imagine the court could/would require you to report any prescriptions you obtain before you fill them or take any of the drug, and if it an abusable drug the judge might require a statement from your doctor explaining the drug's necessity. This is just a guess on my part but it seems likely.
Not if it's legally prescribed to you. If it's not then yes it can. You have to be more specific on what your taking though as blood pressure meds vs painkillers will have an impact.
Yes. I am a probation officer. As long as you have a current prescription.
Yes.
Yes
The Vicodin is the nasty part; too much of that can kill. If your doctor has prescribed these medications, then it's OK to take them as prescribed.
Only if your doctor has prescribed it.
I'm assuming you were prescribed these drugs or will be prescribed these drugs by a doctor.. That's who you should be asking.
Yeah, I've have it prescribed to me by the same doctor at the same visit.
yes m357 is a generic for vicodin 5/500. That means it has 5 milligrams of hydrocodone which is the main ingredient in vicodin and has euphoric effects. If taken as prescribed they may get sleepy and a slight buzz. They are addictive so only take as prescribed. yes m357 is a generic for vicodin 5/500. I would have to say the answer to this is yes, because the same internist who put me on coumadin prescribed vicodin to me for my pain. He didn't want me taking Aleve.
No, you should be fine as far as I know there's no major reaction between the two. I am prescribed ritalin for adhd and sometimes take pain pills with it and never had a problem but I only take 10mg ritalin with one or two vicodin. As long as you stick to the prescribed dose of each you will be fine.
After having a surgery several years ago I was prescribed vicodin for a short period of time and just this past year was diagnosed with hypothyroiditis so it is possible to take vicodin safely with an under active thyroid but check with your doctor(s) to see if it is safe for you.
You cannot take any medication that is not prescribed by a physician, or any over-the-counter med that you may be abusing.
You had better notify your probation officer of the fact that you're taking prescribed medication. AND - it had better be a valid scrip, or you're gonna get 'dinged.'
