hey ive heard of ways in which to duplicate items. use a ditto and any other Pokemon as long as it knows thief in a doubles battle. use thief on ditto and you should in theory have an item (say a master ball) on both Pokemon once you leave the battle. you can use this as ive tested it myself. but u can also teach your other 5 Pokemon that arnt ditto to learn thief then switch them in and out there for getting another 5 master balls from your original one. hope this helped.
