You can teach the horse reining manuvers, (sliding stop, lead changes, run-downs, spins, etc), cow cutting, barrel racing, trail riding, and many other disciplines. If there is an issue where your horse comes up lame while jumping then you need to have the vet out to take a look at the horse to see what the issue is. Not all horses are capable of jumping as it puts enormous strain on their tendons, ligaments, muscles and bones. Your horse may have an old injury that will not allow it to jump, or to jump as much as you would like to. In any case if the horse comes up lame repeatedly then you likely will not be able to use that horse for jumping any longer.
it teaches about jumping of a cliff.

Stallions usually teach other horses the "pecking order". Tell who is the boss and where he is in the pecking order. They can also teach the younger ones manners or how to behave around other stallions. But of course stallions will kick and bite to show dominance just like any other horse in the herd.
When you take horse riding lessons they teach you everything you need to now to ride the horses but never teach you how to fall off. Instead the lessons are meant to keep you on the horse.
No.
first can i just say, how come you have a horse and u cant jump???i know jumping isn't tht important its just my parents wouldn't let me have a horse untilll i was really experienced:( not saying ur not i mean i don't know anything about u butt yh anyway... i think the best thing to do is get an instrctor to teach you, it can b quite hard to teach yourself and you will have no one to corect any bad habits u might get into, another way if u cant do tht is to read lots of books etc on it and gradually build up, starting with poles on the ground and then small crosspoles.
The horse has to get used to being around other horses that are unknown to it. I had a horse not react well to a 4-H event, until she was taken regularly and got used to the unfamiliar horses.
