I've done a science experiment on this particular question, and I found out that if they are the same brands, then it's harder to tell them apart. If they are different, then they are most likely to have different and more unique tastes, so it's easier to tell them apart.

This answer is based on opinion since everyone has different tastes for beer and many have no taste for it at all.
This is a question that should be answered by doing a science project! Buy a bunch of different types of gum and experiment to see which one loses its taste first. I suspect it will be the cheaper brands of gum but you need to try and see for yourself.
