Sounds like you might have a small piece of food get into the socket, and now the socket has become infected. You need to get back to your dentist, have him clean it out and get on some antibiotics. You don't want the infection to spread. Remember your face is pretty close to your brain!
They need to be extracted, your jawline does not have enough room for your wisdom teeth and therefore behind your wisdom teeth, food is getting trapped and pus is oozing. Go to the dentist soon.
Leave it alone. By definition, 'Dry Socket' is an extremely painfinful condition that occurs one to several days following an extraction. If you are concerned see the dentist who extracted the tooth for a no additional charge post-op check. He/she will know whether or not you are healing properly.

It is one of the four teeth at the back of either side of the upper and lower jaw of a person. It is usually the last one to come out.A wisdom tooth, in humans, is any of the usually four third molars, including mandibular third molar and maxillary third molar. Wisdom teeth usually appear between the ages of 17 and 25. Most adults have four wisdom teeth, but it is possible to have more, in which case they are called supernumerary teeth. Wisdom teeth commonly affect other teeth as they develop, becoming impacted or "coming in sideways". They are often extracted when this occurs. About 35% of the population does not develop wisdom teeth at all.
u got your wisdom teeth pulled out dummy
You can smoke 12-24 hours after extraction but then again, you have to take into consideration many factors, for instance: was it a difficult extraction? was it in the maxillary (upper) jaw or in the mandibular (lower)? Do you take contraceptive pills? If you're a smoker, had a difficult extraction (tooth got broken or was difficult in getting it out), take contraceptive pills and had an extraction in the lower jaw, then you'd better refrain from smoking for a while. Dry sockets are more common when lower pre/molars are extracted since there are less blood vessels. This means that less blood is travelling to clot the socket and therefore the bone and surrounding tissues get infected. Saline helps alot to disinfect and keep the socket clean during the following days.
