Yes, but if you have just bought them I would leave them a few days to aclimatise. When I first started having hamsters I was a bit scared of holding them so I used to wear gardening gloves. Now I see that most hamsters have a lovely temprament. If they are biting alot when you hold them, I would consider getting them checked out by a vet as this is normally when they are in pain.
