Why would anyone want to trade a working PS3 for a PS2. A new PS3 costs much more than a PS2, but a used PS3 traded in might now get enough trade in credit for a new PS2 at GameStop. On October 15 2011 many Gamestop's do not have an inventory of new PS2s so it would also depend which Gamestop you went to.

They will give you something (very Little) off the purchase of a PS3
You can trade in a Wii at Gamestop, but you can not get a PS3 for it without cash
Only $20 in trade
yes you can
gamestop, walmart, trade a game, online, Ebay, amazon, however the game is better for the wii, xbox, and ps3
hell no You most certainly can. It will not be an even trade, but trading in your PlayStation 2 console will take some money off of the purchase of a new PlayStation 3.
I dont think so sorry try asking the store Gamestop has certain games that they are looking for and some are PS2 titles. They will take any of the titles they are looking for in trade toward purchase of products they have for sale. However you will not trade in a single PS2 game for PS3 games.
The PS3 will cost much more than a PS2 and a Used PS2 can get you $20-25 off a new PS3 at a store that takes trade ins
