No.
The Killzone series takes place in the distant future. To be exact Killzone 3 takes place just minutes after the ending of Killzone 2, which is November 2359 to May 2360.
They are all awesome, but I'd recommend Killzone 2. ---- Easily Killzone 2. Resistance 2 was fun, but seemed really short to me...
most likely about 10 $
1. Dust 514 2. Killzone 3. Call of Duty.
Killzone is a first-person shooter exclusive to the PlayStation 2 game console, developed by Netherlands-based Guerrilla Games and released on November 2, 2004 in North America. A sequel, Killzone: Liberation was released on the PlayStation Portable and another followup, Killzone 2 was released for the PlayStation 3 on February 27, 2009. Killzone 3 was announced at E3 2010, and is scheduled to be released February 2011.
There are currently four (4) KillZone games for the PS3. KillZone is the original game, it is for PS2. There are also two (2) more games for the PS3, KillZone 3, and KillZone 2. There is also a a game for the PSP, KillZone: Liberation. There is most likely going to be at least one (1) more game, probably for the PS3.
In my opinion Killzone 3 is better than Crysis 2 because crysis doesn't have that much of sense to the story and the gameplay isn't that good either. On the other hand, killzone 3 has a better gameplay, better graphics and an EXCELLENT POINT to the story.
It is impossible to save your teammates in KillZone 1. But in KillZone 2 and KillZone 3 you are able to save a teammate by pressing a certain button, this button depends on your controller scheme. You will then pull out a "Heal Ray" and fire it at your downed ally. Thus, reviving them from the brink of death. In an online KillZone 3 game the "Heal Ray" is only available to the Field Medic unit.
