you do not need cheats. you need to trade some pokemons that are not available in Yellow and can be found in Blue and Red. that's the way to finish the game. if you want strong line up for the Pokemon League, this is my line up and so far the best in my opinion. Charizard, Pikachu, Lapras, Gyarados, Kadabra and Haunter.
