But you cannot expect to train a rabbit the same way you would train a dog. You will fail. Here is a demonstration of how one trainer trains her rabbits:

Rabbits are very smart and sociable creatures. But if you keep them in a cage/hutch somewhere, you will never know this. Pet rabbits shouldn't be stored in a cage in the garage any more than a dog or cat should be. Both you and your pet will be bored if you keep them caged up.
