How do you correctly train an African Grey?

By repetition. Have training sessions everyday in same room, at the same time. Repeat the word you want your bird to say everyday during your sessions. Say the word the same way each time. First they will try to repeat the sound you are making, and eventually say the words/ Remember not all parrots are capable of speaking, it all depends on their species, living conditions, and personalities. Male parrots living alone are more likely to talk. Don't frustate yourself or your bird doing this. The key is to stay consistent.
