Do you mean how did they travel to Canada? One set of my grandparents by boat in 1908 the other again by boat in 1921. All arrived in Halifax pier 21. My maternal grandmother had her passage arranged by the people who ran the orphanage and an employer in Ontario. The others completed paperwork after getting in touch with the Canadian Embassy.
