ONLY if the location of the vivarium isn't going to get too cold ! If you can't maintain the normal night-time temperature range - use a heat-pad. That way the snake will still get some heat - but there'll be no light (as would happen normally at night !)
I would, unless you have a red heat light for them that is meant for night time and just to hold a stable temperature, it doesn't raise the temp, but it will keep it steady if you live in a could house.
if the tank its in stays at least 70 deegres f
if it is cold at night or the water if realy cold so yes
Yes but you need a heat mat or a infarred bulb
a small heat lamp should work
No.
Yes you can, however if you have a heat lamp you should get a heat mat (for under the cage) so he/she can have heat at the top and bottom of the cage.
Some Moths, Flies they come tords light not the heat
It depends if you have a heat lamp or a regular lamp on....If you have a heat lamp on all night that is good for your beardie because it keeps him warm without disturbing his sleep it doesn't disturb his sleep because he can't see the uv light. If you have a regular light thenit might keep your beardie up.

why does the heat a snake feels from the heat lamp above him
Night Lamp has 384 pages.
It depends on where you get it and what company manufactures it. For hermit crabs or amphibians, I suggest a heat lamp, maybe WITH a heating pad. But if you have a lizard like an anole, you should definitely get both.
a heat lamp is dumb so dont use it
Heat Lamp. Is a lamp that shines heat energy ( electromagnetic Energy) into the form of heat.
