You should be able to, but so far I'm having trouble finding any software updates out there. The SpyNet HQ site is stupid, all links don't work, they just reference back to the homepage, so I can't even get a clue on that.
So in general, unless somebody knows of any software hacks for it, there is technically no way to really modify it.
If there ever was an update, it'd likely be to patch flaws / bugs in the software.
