Yes you can. If you have the 16" rim, you will be able to use the 255 tire with very little speedo and odo interference. There are no rubbing issues, handling is slightly affected and the beefier tire fills the well nicely.
Many tire dealers have great deals on Michelin LTX tires. The Discount tire company is just one of them, not only for this particular brand, but others as well.
In my eyes , very well I got 5 new Michelin LTX all terrain tires installed for free on my 1995 Ford Explorer when I would be looking at the expense of buying at least 4 new tires because of the mileage
I personally recommend Michelin LTX M/S, but they are proud of their tires and the price proves that. A similar tire would be a Definity tire from Pep-Boys if you have one of those close to you. That is their line that they directly compete with Michelin on. That is what I have on my truck now and they seem to be holding up very well... Not like the $200 Bridgestone Alenza tires that I put on... Those were crap! If money isn't an object, then go for the Michelin tires... I believe the Pep Boy Definity is just as good and not as expensive...
I just received my new 2011 F350 Diesel and it had Michelin LTX AT/2 275/65R20's on it. Not a bad tire, however, I replaced with a larger set of Goodyear Duratrac tires that have been excellent so far.
Though there are many different features one may look for in an all-terrain tire for an SUV, the Kumho Road Venture SAT KL61, the Firestone Destination A/T, the Michelin LTX A/T 2 and others test high in many of these categories. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=ORAT

I have a 1995 Ford Explorer XLT - originally the recommended inflation pressure was 26 PSI - I received a revised sticker recommending 30 PSI ( cold ) for recommended Firestone tires . I had my Firestone ATX tires replaced for free under the recall with Michelin LTX all terrain tires ( P235/75R15 ) and I have been running 29 or 30 PSI in the Michelins for over 7 years now and if anything it's the inside and outside edges that are wearing quicker than the center of the tread so that works for me
