Walk over to your regular xbox and plug the controller in. i dare ya. no, just kidding. the controller slots for the two systems is very different. the 360 uses a usb port for the plug in, and the regular xbox uses a special kind. that's why you have to buy different controllers for the 360.

Hey this is my first answer! Well a Nintendo wii has motion senser technology, and an xbox 360 is used via hand held controls. So a wii is more, 'get up and go' (active) whereas you can use an xbox sitting down. Where I come from, in my area, xbox is WAY more popular, but I prefer the Nintendo wii. Hope this helps.
