Only the early PS3 with 4 USB ports can play PS2 games.
You can play a PS2 game on a PS2. Old PS3 could play only some PS2 game titles and a PC can use a emulator to play the games in a poor imitation of the PS2
THis question is a little out there but ummm u can use ps2 controller to play ps2 game and ur ps3 controller to play ps3 games and if u get a high enough giga bite ps3 u can play ps2 GAMES on ps3
yes it is.it's a wireless one for a ps2 The games are not PC versions of PS3 games they are PC versions of the Game and the PS3 game is a PS3 version of the game.
You could use an emulator to complete a PS2 game, but it is not playing the game like a PS2 console allows you to do and there are so many titles that do not play well. Really all you are doing is trying to turn your PC into a PS2 and you can only do that with a PS2 bios loaded into your PC. PS3 are not able to be played.
Yes you can but you need the ps3 game , ps2 rock band game won't work but controllers will . Yes you can but you need the ps3 game , ps2 rock band game won't work but controllers will .
yes
You trade in a game for credit toward a purchase not as an exchange THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU MORE THAN THE GAME IS WORTH. So no a PS2 game would get you a dollar or two off a PS3 game. PS3 games are never on a CD they use Blu Ray Discs and they are CD or DVD size
No. Sorry, the PS3 is all wireless, but it has two USB ports, which means the drums will plug in either PS2 or PS3, but, gay as it sounds, the guitars are not compatible with both systems
PS3s play only PS3 games unless they say they will play others. For example most say that they will play select PlayStation titles and most say they will not play PS2 games right on the box it was shipped in. PS1 used the CD format and PS2 did not use a CD and instead used a DVD format disc. The only PS3 that said they could play PS2 games were the old PS3 consoles with 4 USB ports
If the Below information was correct how did the PS2 read a Blu-Ray game disc that the PS3 are on. The Blu-ray is only read by a violet or blueish purple laser light and the PS2 has a DVD red laser reading light. In other words the PS2 can not even read a PS3 game disc because they are only similar in size. some people belive it to be impossible but infact some people belive that if you have a usb drive of a certain gb in a slot on a PS2 that you can play a PS3 game on a PS2 system

It isn't available as a downloadable game, but I would like to use the start data from game one if I can. (Suikoden series) I have read that you can connect a PSP to the PS3, can you do this with the PS2? TIA
