At this point neither Valve nor Sony have released any details for the PS4 to support the Steam Machine controller.
It depends on whether you have a controller connected already. If you do go to settings and go to bluetooth connections- then on the controller not set up yet hold the ps button and the share button down for a few seconds so it blinks then on the ps4 find wireless controller on the list of bluetooth devices click on it and there you go.

The EXT port in the PS4's Dual shock 4 controller is used as a extension port.
No they have a different plug in to charge therefor the ps3 controller won't connect to the ps4
