It will bolt on, but to answer your question, no.
4g63 (Turbo) or 420A (non-turbo)
Be sure it is a 4g63, non turbod eclipses (rs and gs models) between 1995 and 1999 use the 420a engine (which you can buy turbo kits for too) But if it is a 4g63 than the answer is yes, you would have to buy the correct turbo kit (turbo, oil lines, turbo exhaust manifold, intercooler, piping, etc) and tuning software (DSMlink). It is a good bit of work if you are not experienced with cars and building them. To turbo a non turbo car is is important to make sure the engine can handle it and SHOULD be rebuilt properly to ensure that it will last. If you are serious about this than I suggest reading up on dsmtalk.com and dsmtuners.com both are forums about everything 4G63 and even the 420a engines (non turbo'd eclipse/talon 1995-1999)
Yes, the same harness was used in the non turbo as well as the turbo, Unless you have the 1.8 liter or the 420a engine.
The simple answer is yes. there are two engines in talons, lasers and eclipses. or better known as dsm's. (diamond star motors). there is the 4g63, and the 420a. which both come in turbo and non-turbo models. if you are looking to swap a turbo 4g63 into a non turbo 4g63 shell, the swap is simple. same as if your swapping a turbo 420a into a non turbo 420a shell. now, if your looking to swap a turbo 4g63into a nonturbo 420a or vise versa, you will encounter problems with motor mounts, wiring etc. keep in mind the wiring and ecu's etc will be different on each motor.

Are you talking about taking a 4g63 out and putting a 420a in? If so, i don't understand, why at all, you'd do that.
negative only 420a motor for non turbo or 4g63 for turbo model...or extensive modifying. i don't know why you would want to. 2000+ eclipse motors are garbage as well as the dodge 420a non turbo motor...the only motor that sould have ever been put in the eclipse is the 4g63 period.
CrPS locationIt depends on if it's stock turbocharged or not (for the '95 model year). Turbo 94/95, and non-turbo 94 have the same engine, but the 95 non-turbo have a Chrysler 420a. The crank position for the 420a is right above the oil filter, about an inch to two. I'm not too familiar with the 4g63's ('90-'94 n/a / turbo, and '95-'99 turbo), but I believe it's in a similar location; underneath the intake manifold mounted into the side of the block.
no, the transmission for the 4g63 is on the passenger side, the 420a is on the driver's side. you will have 5 speeds in reverse and 1 speed in forward if you try this even with a transmission adaptor.
VERY HARD AND VERY EXPENSIVE. I do not recommend. You would spend less money buying a talon or eclipse with the 4g63 engine!
yes. both engines are the 4g63. the turbo engines from the 1990-1994 is a 6 bolt 4g63 and the turbo engine from the 1995-1999 is a 7 bolt 4g63.
Shouldn't be on 1995-1998 (2G), assuming you are looking for A/T (automatic) for A/T or M/T (manual) for M/T. Also make sure you look for ESI models and not the TSI model. TSI would be for turbo transmission, which is different. There's also TSI AWD. See the charts below. Hope this helps... For an ESI: Manual- Engine: 420A, this is for NT (non-turbo); Model: F5MC1-1-QPAF Automatic- Engine: 420A (again non-turbo); Model: F4AC1-3-QZAF For a TSI: Manual- Engine: 4G63 (Turbo); Model: F5M33 (this is for the FWD) Manual- Engine: 4G63 (Turbo); Model: W5M33 (this is for the AWD) Automatic- Engine: 4G63 (Turbo); Model: F4A33-1-UPQ (this is for FWD) Automatic- Engine: 4G63 (Turbo); Model: W4A33-1-FNQ (this is for AWD)
