possibly but I'd just check with the vet just in case cause otherwise something awful and nasty may happen
It is because of the process they use to manufacture it. However, you can get lactulose in a powdered form. I believe is is called Kristalose.
Use 1 teaspoon (5 ml.) for each year of age up to age 16. After that, use the dosage that causes a bowel movement that cannot be resisted or ignored. This is a very safe medication and is primarily used to help people have regular, daily bowel movements when they tend to forget to allow time for this during their busy activities during the day.
not a good idea unless you used just half the dose
at worst case yes. never ever use dog flea repellent on cats
They use maple syrup because it adds flavour.
no use cheese!!!!!!!!!!
No, syrup, isn't a natural resource, but the sap that we use to make syrup is.
The frontline plus chemicals have different molar concentrations for each animal. These concentration vary depending on the size of the pet and the species and so forth. You may use the same front line plus for both cats and dogs, but if you use a cat dose on a dog dose, the full effects will not be active. If you use a dog dose on a cat, the dose may be too powerful and cause damaging effects to the cat's body(blood stream, skin, fur, etc.)
In short, yes. And no. It depends on how much is "too much". The safest course of action is to use the dose meant for your dog's weight-range, though many people buy a higher dose and split it up. Talk to your vet.
You can try homeopathic medicine if you have an idea of what is wrong. I use earthclinic.com for both family and dogs.
Its not recomended but you can if you use half the amount. it is also hard to know what amount you applied and it comes out pretty fast. Good luck
