Without berating you on the many reasons why you shouldn't use a filthy safety pin to pierce your flesh (it could be new out of the package and you could boil it for an hour, it's still a scrap sliver of metal that has not been sterilized), let it simply suffice to say that the gauge of a piercing needle is generally 22-20, and almost all Monroes are done at 14, which is substantially bigger than the needle that you would be piercing it with, so getting it through would be next to impossible.

Can you use Monroe piercing on spider bites?

I don't understand... How can you use a piercing on another piercing? Do you mean the jewelry? If so, yes, lip studs in a monroe can also be worn in spiderbites. The length may be off though.

What will safety pins do if you use them to pierce Your Top Lip What Could Happen?

Using a safety pin to pierce your lip (Or any other part of your body) is safe PROVIDED that you first sterlise it, like over an open flame and then dip it into something like iodine. Before piercing your self though have a good think about what you are doing - and be careful !________________________ Do NOT listen to the original answer. Piercing yourself is always a dumb idea. Piercing yourself with a safety pin is an even dumber idea. You could hit a nerve or a major vein and permanently mess up your face. Safety pins aren't a safe metal to use like titanium alloy like a lot of "training jewelry" is made of and it could irritate the piercing. Plus you'd look like a total doof with a red, pus-oozing, badly done piercing sticking out of your mouth. Listen to either answer you want. There are risks. Using a piercing kit is probably a better idea than using a safety pin.

What should you use to pierce your own lip?

My thought is that you should NEVER attempt this on your own.AnswerIt seems to me that no matter what people say children are going to do this to themselves. Be warned serious infection is probable when working on yourself. But to answer the question you need a 14g. or LARGER (larger being preferable) piercing needle. NOT a safety pin!If u r dead set on piercing your own lip but can't get a profesional needle i would say that (out of personal exsperience) if u do use a safety pin it is sooo much more probable to get an infection but it might work out eventually.(it did for me)But if u decide to be stupid and do it with a safety pin than i wouldn't cry about it later because U WERE WARNED!

How do you clean safety pin?

An ordinary safety pin can be cleaned with soap and water, or with alcohol. You can use a common dish scrubber or sponge, moistened with soapy water or alcohol, and clean the pin by jabbing it repeatedly into the scrubber. The closure end of the safety pin can be cleaned with a brush dipped in soapy water or alcohol.
