of coarse you can silly(:
You can use it as an ordinary automatic flash, but the dedicated features such as TTL metering and auto-zoom will not work unless you have a flash specifically built for the Sony.
Generally, as long as the camera has a standard "hot-shoe," everything should work. The 2500 appears to be for an older camera though (because it only has one contact on the bottom and it uses a synchronization cord) I wouldn't use it (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_shoe ) If you still have the need for a zoom thyristor, I would try to find the 3500 model from Vivitar. It has the standard three contacts on the bottom and would probably work..... However, with a high-end camera such as this; be careful about accessories you use because you could accidentally damage it. If you're still in doubt, ask your local dealer about it....Hope this helps. ~Cliff
Yes, with a FD to EOS adapter.
You can get a nice used zoom. I don't know the brand of your camera but Canon has a nice 75-300 zoom.
The Canon EF 24 70mm lens is compatible with all current Canon SLR camera models. The standard zoom lens is a powerful lens set that is great for long distance shots.
Safely, yes, because it does not exceed 6V. Because the Vivitar 728AF is TTL-based and the Canon Rebel xti, being a digital body, is not TTL-compatible, but E-TTL, the Vivitar can only be used manually. It will fire, but there is no feedback from the camera to the flash unit. If you are willing to evaluate and reshoot every time, you can use this flash unit, but expect no more.
Unfortunately no. With an adapter one can use a Nikon lens on a Canon body, but the distances between lens and register (the critical point in the camera body where the image is recorded) make it impossible to even create an adapter to use Canon lenses on Nikon bodies.
A thyristor, also known as a silicon controlled rectifier, is a diode that can be turned on by application of a small gate voltage.
A Canon S100 gives the user great control over a variety of things to produce a brilliant photo. It's great at low-light settings and has powerful zoom to capture anything you want.
You can find an instruction manual for a Vivitar mini camera on the web. You may try to use Google or Bing to search for it.
You use + to zoom and - to zoom out.
how to transfer pictures from your camera with the vivitar 50-in-1 card reader to my laptop PC or desk top. Thank you.
