Neosporin will not help the irritation but it will help the area heal quicker. For quick relief, take Benadryl for the swelling and itch. If the area starts to turn funny colors, see a doctor for an antibiotic because spider bites can get infected.
Go to a doctor
You can. Peroxide is probably not going to help a whole lot with the "spider bite" part, but it could help keep the wound from becoming infected.
no milk will not help dilute the toxins from a spider or snake bit
Go to your mom and ask her what she has for a bite like that. There is bite stuff you can put on it to help.
If you think you have a spider bite...you should still see a doctor. Recently people have been mistaking spider bites for a serious and possibly fatal MRSA infection. I was given 50 mg Benadryl (diphenhydramine, generic, is available in sleep aid sections as well as antihistamine sections OTC) after a black widow bite and it did help a lot. If it is a brown recluse spider bite, you should see a doctor. People die from both of these types of spider bites.
yes..can be use for certain spider bites such as brown recluse bites...would also suggest mincing an onion add lots of salt to it and a tablespoon of turpintine..spoon a little on a bandaid and put it ovr the bite overnight...this will stop and reverse necrosis caused by a brown recluse bite and draw the poison out and promote healing within a couple of days
How long it takes to heal a fire ant bite depends on the person and where the ant bit them. A drug store can sell someone medicine to help heal the bites faster.
If there is a wound with poor blood circulation leches can help heal the wound. The leches are attached to the wound. Their bite, with it's blood thinning properties and sucking of the blood, can help supply blood to the wound aiding in its healing.
If it's a cold sore then that won't do much to help it. Cold sores are caused by a virus, you would have to get some antiviral medication or try taking Lysine capsils.
I would take her to the vet to make sure the spider bite wasnt poisonous How big was the spider? What type? For a small spider just clean the wound with peroxyde or other antiseptic, andit should be fine. For a large or dangerous spider see the vet, immediatley.
It's not where the spider is from that matters. What matters is what species the spider is. A tropical spider could have escaped from a spider farm on the island, for example. You need to remember what the spider looks like and call emergency services if you believe it was poisonous, then tell them exactly what you remember about the spider. They will need to identify it, confirm if it is dangerous or not then get the right treatment, because different species have different types of venom. There are 34,000 different species of spiders all over the world. If you or someone is having difficulty walking due to a spider bite or other unknown reason, you need to get them medical help right away. If it is not a spider bite, it could be Meningitis B, a damaged spine, etc etc.
