You can physically use an interior door knob on an exterior door, but an interior door know isn't designed to hold up in weather conditions and won't last as long. Most interior door knobs don't have as good of a lock as the exterior ones either.
Probably, but I wouldn't recommend it. -There has to be a reason why they name things interior or exterior.
You can if you want someone to break in easily. An exterior door is solid and interior is usually hollow to lower cost since you need more. So if someone kicks it or hits it with something they will be in really quick!!

Follow the manufacturer's maintenance instructions for your wooden garage doors. Most manufacturers recommend painting interior and exterior door sides after installation is complete. Paint the exterior door side every one to two years, five to seven years for the interior side. Wash the door every three months with a mild detergent. This will prevent the buildup of rust and corrosion that leads to worse damage for your doors. Do not use salt to melt snow and ice near the door. Salt can corrode garage door parts quickly. Lubricate the door's moving parts annually with a light oil such as WD40.
