Yes it can be substituted, I have done it, and passed with flying colors! However, I wasn't being watched. The question should be. Can they detect the difference between a child and adults urine in a drug test? I am sure there is a way to detect the difference, It is just a matter of who would test for that. And..... It would be much more expensive, and a total different kind of test.

∙ 10y agoyes as long as its the same sex. some places test for traces of sperm witch would determin the sex and posibly the age of the doner. so if your a male just rub one out and put a little sperm in it.

∙ 12y agoNo, this would alter the results! You cant have your buddy come up to a traffic stop and have HIM do the breathalizer now can you? The test is designed to see if THAT individual is under the influince not mommy or daddy. And furthermore, if you ever wonder about this, when the situation calls, ask the police officer honestly. If you don't tell him and you do the drug test not the child, you may be arrested for obstruction of justice.
Answer
Companies do drug tests because they have found that it is a safer, more efficient workplace. If your urine is not clean, then you are not going to fit in anyway. As a matter of principle, following the rules makes life easier because it makes sense.

You can also walk into the test with a sign around your neck reading "I'm a drug user who's going to make a feeble attempt to fool you", which will have approximately the same results except for when the tester starts laughing at you.
