Guinea pigs can be bathed with baby shampoo, but they can't be bathed with other

human shampoos because they could contain ingredients and substances that can

irritate, damage, or dry out a guinea pig's skin.

No. Human shampoo works on removing oil. Small pet shampoo will work as will cat shampoo. Dog shampoo is also too harsh.

Are guinea pigs odourless?

Most of the time guinea pigs don't have an odour as long as you clean their cage often. If they are still stinky, you can always give them a bath. If you want to give then a bath you should either use bunny, kitten or ferret shampoo, dog shampoo is too strong and natural shampoo is the best for them.

Can a guinea pig use baby shampoo for a bath?

Guinea Pigs should be bathed in low, warm water, with baby shampoo. Hold your Pig while bathing, or put in a little basket so then you can wash him/her easier. Keep the water/soap out of his/her eyes, and when your done dry her/him.Conditioner is not really needed, your Guinea shouldn't get knots in its fur or anything. Shampoo should work fine. Special Guinea Pig made soap, or shampoo is okay, but make sure not to get any in it's eyes. Johnson's shampoo I do not recommend, because some of the contents could hurt your Guinea. Get the 'Tear Free' kind, and that should be great.
