yes you can give a guinea pig a bath with just water but they will not be as clean as when you give them a bath with shampoo and yes they do make special shampoo for guinea pigs don't use normal soap on guinea pigs you can find this special soap at petsmart in the guinea pig area
Well you dont need special shampoo but use any shampoo that is non tear shampoo it works best.
do not bath your guinea pigs ever! only bath them with special washing shampoo from wilkinsons, even if you get that its only if your guinea pigs are really dirty. It will have writing on the back to read or get special shampoo from ebay or a pets shop.
only if guinea pigs are considered ''critters''
I prefer to use a special shampoo for small animals think it is by Johnson and Johnson the one i use it is very mild and safe to use on guinea pigs. never use human, dog or cat shampoos on guinea pigs.
If the baby bubble bath is for humans, yes. Cat shampoo is advised to use on guinea pigs. Baby bubble bath may not be too harsh a soap to use.
with minature brushes you can get from pet shops (i got mine from pets at home - they cost about a fiver for 3 different brushes) just brush down there body and there nose and sides and if your guinea pig is good u can do under its tummy. Dont forget to also clip its nails otherwise they will grow to long and curl under, i have trouble cliping one of my guinea pigs nails because she is intent on chewing everything! hope this helps ellen.

When bathing your guinea pig, you should be careful to always use the proper animal shampoo from a vet or pet store. Human shampoo can be harmful to the animal.
you get some medacation or give it a bath with flea shampoo

Most of the time guinea pigs don't have an odour as long as you clean their cage often. If they are still stinky, you can always give them a bath. If you want to give then a bath you should either use bunny, kitten or ferret shampoo, dog shampoo is too strong and natural shampoo is the best for them.
Any guinea pig shampoo should be fine for your guinea pig but you might want to ask your vet, an employee at a pet store, or friends with guinea pigs.
baby powder or light shampoo for puppies that can be used on other animals such as hamsters and guinea pigs.
Guinea Pigs should be bathed in low, warm water, with baby shampoo. Hold your Pig while bathing, or put in a little basket so then you can wash him/her easier. Keep the water/soap out of his/her eyes, and when your done dry her/him.Conditioner is not really needed, your Guinea shouldn't get knots in its fur or anything. Shampoo should work fine. Special Guinea Pig made soap, or shampoo is okay, but make sure not to get any in it's eyes. Johnson's shampoo I do not recommend, because some of the contents could hurt your Guinea. Get the 'Tear Free' kind, and that should be great.
I you wish to give your guinea pig a bath or shower you, will need the following items. A large jug filled with lukewarm water, a basin/bucket/bath tub, a towel, and some shampoo/conditioner/soap. OPTIONAL: you could have some treats for your guinea pig :P To bathe your guinea pig, place him in the bath and pour the water over him. massage in the shampoo if you are using any. Wash the shampoo out using more water. Repeat the process if you want to use conditioner. Give your guinea pig rewards throughout the process. When your guinea pig is clean, take him out of the bath and dry him throughly with a towel. Do not use a hair dryer, as this will scare your guinea pig. Allow him to air dry in his hutch. I hope this was helpful! :)
Yes, guinea pigs can be given a bath. In fact you should bathe your guinea pigs once every one to two months- just be sure to use specially fortified guinea pig or rabbit shampoo when doing so.
