do not bath your guinea pigs ever!
only bath them with special washing shampoo from wilkinsons, even if you get that its only if your guinea pigs are really dirty. It will have writing on the back to read or get special shampoo from ebay or a pets shop.
yes
Guinea pigs generally, like any other pet, should be bathed to keep clean and germ free. using a special small animal shampoo and warm water in a tub (preferably deep because they like to jump out) you can give them a quick bath. try not to get soap and/or water in their ears, eyes or mouth. on colder days after their bath guinea pigs should not be left wet; using a brush and blow dryer you should gently dry their fur. Bath your guine pig/s at least once per month.
Yes. Just make sure the water is not too cold or hot. When you take her out make sure you do not let her get cold. You can blow dry her with a hair dryer. Make sure again the temperature is not too hot or cold while you do this.
That's fine as long as you dry the little guy after wards. You NEVER want to have a cold soaking wet guinea pig or they can catch a disease like a cold and sometimes the flu.
Put some moisturiser on their ears. It sounds strange but it does help. Guinea Pigs have very sensitive skin, especially on their ears where they can get sunburnt.
There are many different opinions on this. Some books say that they clean themselves fine but if you find that they are getting dirty then you should give them a bath. I also read a book that say that you should give a guinea pig a bath about once every three weeks and it helps to prevent skin diseases. That's what I do but it said that you have to use either special guinea pig shampoo or a mild scalp shampoo (mild baby shampoo is what I use).
It depends up on the age of guinea pig.Small guinea pig cannot go out in the rain nor they cannot take a bath. Some guinea pigs are able to bath, but going out in rain is not good because they want to be cleaned and put in a dry place after bathing.Bathing have to be done in 10 or 15 minutes.Otherwise they will have many diseases.
Actually you CAN give a Guinea pig a bath but you should not put them back in their cage when they are damp (this is how they get colds). It should be around 50 degrees or higher when you give him/her a bath but be sure to remember to dry your friend with a towel (NO HAIR DRYERS). SQ
guinea pigs can eat the same thing all day long i usually give mine some veggies with their dry food in the morning and afternoon.
If u have no guinea pig food left it is ok to give ur guinea pigs some weetabix dry. It is ok for them to eat because it is weat and that is good for them!
