That's fine as long as you dry the little guy after wards. You NEVER want to have a cold soaking wet guinea pig or they can catch a disease like a cold and sometimes the flu.
no, guinea pigs do not die easily from wetness.
its wet then it drys and lol its now soft and clean.....
Guinea pigs DON'T have tails. Therefore they cannot get wet tail, but they CAN get diarrhea, this looks the same as wet tail and can therefore be quite easy to get them mixed up.
Guinea pigs generally, like any other pet, should be bathed to keep clean and germ free. using a special small animal shampoo and warm water in a tub (preferably deep because they like to jump out) you can give them a quick bath. try not to get soap and/or water in their ears, eyes or mouth. on colder days after their bath guinea pigs should not be left wet; using a brush and blow dryer you should gently dry their fur. Bath your guine pig/s at least once per month.
** Do not feed your guinea pig rhubarb, beans, or potatoes with green spots. These are all poisonous to your guinea pig!** Do not feed your guinea pig any dairy products. Although some people may suggest feeding their guinea pigs yogurt in order to clean out their digestive systems, you should avoid feeding any dairy product to your guinea pig because they are lactose intolerant, which means their bodies can notproperly process daily products. Also, excess calcium will cause guinea pigs to develop kidney and/or bladder stones. Do not feed your guinea pigs any nuts or meats.Probably the best thing to feed your guinea pig is guinea pig food. Guinea pigs also like to eat any kinds of fruits or vegetables. They also like to nibble on grass sometimes too.Rhubarb, Lettuce (not a lot of it anyway), these will both make your Guinea Pigs sick (diarrhoea). Another big no-no is Apples and Potatoes. They eat mainly vegetables, and things like Strawberries, Grapes and Grass (or Guinea Pig food from the Pet Store!!).
I have one... What animal never gets wet when it rains? A RAINdeer. Lol...
They get wet.
god yes i had guinea pigs and we covered them at night and when it rained so they did not get wet.
He gets wet
Things get wet.
Guinea pigs don't have visible tails. They have tail vertebrae (inside their skin), so in the strictest sense, no they can't get wet tail. But "wet tail" usually means diarrhea, and guinea pigs CAN get diarrhea.guinea pigs cant get the condition known as wet tail as far as i am aware, it only effects Hamsters and is caused by Lawsonia Intracellularis and E. Coli. diarrhoea is an affliction which affects guinea pigs, however
Use a wet flannel, slightly dampened, and lay over the guinea pig's back.
They should be, because they have the placenta around them. The mother should lick/eat it off, and their fur will be wet and slimy at first.
Get your guinea pig out a little more. But not to much but just enough there not scared or get a disease i dont know if guinea pigs can get a disease from that but my gerbel got wet tail from holding him to much but enough that it is use to people.
Guinea pigs can get diareha from eating to many vegtables and fruits. They need a balance of dry food and wet. But there may be other reasons such as sicknesses that you will need to get a vet for. But be careful because guinea pigs tend to hide there symtomes of being sick.
If your guinea pig has problems with his skin, they should probably go to the vet. Be sure and give your guinea pigs baths, but don't get their ears and face wet. Hope this helps! :)
its wet then it drys and lol its now soft and clean.....
You probably get wet!! and no ubrellas allowed. jeje.
