No as the recipe is expecting the sugars and the powdered geletin from the Jello. To do this my guess would be 1/4 Cup Fresh lemon juice. 1/2 cup sugar. 1 packet of powdered geletin bloomed per package instructions. Plan on adjusting the liquid level in the recipe.
lemon juice and lemon extract is simalar, but if the recipe says lemon extract then you should follow the recipe.
well just pound the leaves then extract the juice...."^_^"
Nothing "happened" to it, per say. Lemon pound cakes are still made and eaten daily.
about half a pound to a pound... just guessing
It depends on the concentration of the juice.
I have used rum extract, almond extract, anise extract, and a bit of whiskey or vodka, or nothing at all, in place of vanilla in many different recipes including frosting. All without substantially causing a failure in the recipe. [The peppermint frosting went on chocolate cupcakes.] The vanilla is only to give the frosting a flavor other than just bland. Experiment at will.
a few dollars a pound
It depends how much oil your referring to. For instance if you have half a pound of orange juice and a pound of oil than the oil would weigh more. But if you had both one pound of oil and one pound of orange juice than both would weigh the same because their both one pound.
~4.75 cups there is roughly 908 servings of 1/4 tsp in a pound of CA powder that's 227 tsp or ~38 oz. there's 8 oz. per cup
I would never recommend a quick loss. If this is what you want to do you can do a fat loss jump start by doing a 1-2 day raw juice fast. The first day is spring water and lemon. The second day is raw vegetable juice or fruit juice. This detox should get you well on your way to the 3 pound loss.
depends on the size of the lemon
1 pound of tomatoes could yield 2 cups of juice. This would also depend on the size of the tomatoes.
Surely it would depend on how big the plums were?
