Yes, its practically a healthier alternative to really sugary pancakes or waffles. It will still have plenty of sugar unless you use sugar free syrup but it will be a lot less since bread doesn't have very much sugar.
pancakes
use brown bread if you make it. if you buy it too. and use less syrup on it, or get the sugar free or low calorie or fat kind.
I like different jellies or applesauce instead of syrup. Hope this helps!
No. French toast doesn't involve the use of ground beef, it uses eggs, syrup and other products that don't fall into the meat category. My best suggestion is to find a cook book online for your french toast delicious needs.
I like it, it just depends if you like it...
French toast as we know it, traditionally served with maple syrup, comes from Québec in Canada, where it is called pain doré.
You don't have to, but it is correct to use champagne for a toast.
A slice of bread is around 100 calories. An egg is about 70 calories. As long as you don't add additional fat calories by frying, two pieces of French toast are 270 calories plus what ever calories are added with the jam or syrup.
They use maple syrup because it adds flavour.
I have been to Guadalajara and it would seem logical to me that the syrup is raw agave nectar from the maguey plant that is used to make tequila. This syrup is sweeter than maple syrup and the "sugar" index is much lower than that of cane sugar - so - it's better for you. It also tastes great and is readily available at specialty food stores like "Whole Foods." Good on cereal, toast, mixed drinks, etc. Use it in place of any maple syrup, cane sugar, refined sugar, or honey.
You can use Vanilla Syrup as a subsitution. The vanilla is just for flavouring, you can make any cookie recipie without it. The cookies will taste a little differnet but since they are cookies they will still be good.
no use cheese!!!!!!!!!!
