NEVER use Vaseline (or any other oil based lubricant, such as baby oil and some body lotions) during sex with a partner. Oil damage and breaks latex condoms, lessening their effectiveness.

Oil based lubricants are also not water soluble (which makes them far more difficult to wash out from areas of the body) and may contribute to increased bacteria and the possibility of infections. There are inexpensive, better (and condom compatible) lubricants such as Astroglide, K-Y Jelly and Eros, easily available at most stores and pharmacies.
