There are several fabrics and materials available to choose from when considering boat covers. Cotton Canvas is the least expensive while Polyester is the most durable. There are also Polyester/Cotton blends which offer benefits of both.

I would say cotton. I recently bought coated cotton tablecloths. These are made up cent percent cotton and are coated in a light acrylic making stain and spill resistant. These can be easily cleaned up by wiping it with a sponge. They claim that can be used for both indoor and outdoor. It has been a month since I am using it outdoor, and its shine has not reduced even by a bit. I would recommend this to those who wish to purchase a product that is durable and looks stunning.
