Since hair extensions don't get normal oils from the scalp like our own hair, they don't need to be washed frequently. We propose possibly washing your extensions each 5–8 wears or when there is an excess of item development and they become unmanageable to style. We strongly suggest utilizing sans sulfate and liquor free hair items, as these fixings can dry the hair out, prompting bunched up, tangly hair. You can wash your Diva Divine Hair Extensions a similar way you would your own hair.

How soon can you wash your new human hair extensions?

You can do a co-wash before actually wearing them, otherwise you don't want to wash them too frequently because even though they're human hair, washing regularly can damage them & thin them out. You don't necessarily need to wash your hair extensions until you start to see the natural/normal oil, dirt, & buildup that occurs from wear.

Is it alright to curl rebonded hair with straighteners for a day AND Will my hair still be straight after i wash it?

It is only ok to straighten curly hair extensions IF the hair is real. If the hair is artificial, then your hair will melt. Your hair will not remain straight if you wash it. It will go back to its original shape.

How do you wash hair extensions?

Now that you are a proud owner of your very own set of Diva Divine Hair extensions, it is important to care for them properly to ensure they remain looking luscious, smooth, and shiny. If given the proper Diva Divine can last anywhere from 3-6 months, or even up to a year or longer! Diva Divine Hair extensions are made with 100% remy human hair, however, since they don't receive natural oils from the scalp like our own hair does, they don't need to be washed as often as your own hair. As a general rule, the less you wash your extensions the longer they will last. You can use your best judgment on how often to wash them, however, we recommend only washing them once there is a lot of product build-up. If your extensions feel like they’re becoming increasingly difficult to style, this is likely a sign that there is product build-up and they need to be washed. We recommend washing them after every 30 wears or once a month.
