This depends on your hardware's specific capabilities. Some computers can be awakened by LAN input, some cannot. If your device (a) can wake from LAN, and (b) leaves the network adapter active during sleep, your device could potentially be at risk. It is safer to simply shut down your device when it is not in use to avoid this attack vector, if you feel you may be at risk to such an attack.
