No, serious fighting will occur, they are very territorial
Sanitize the cage and get new bedding and the cage is good as new!
NEVER put the new hamster in the same cage, with same stuff! BOIL the toys, cage, in warm, soapy water for 30 minutes! If you don't you are most likely to have another sick/dead hamster :( The disease might remain in the same cage where the sick hamster may have touched, nibbled or made any contact with. Stay safe!
They can of couse be put together. after 4-5 weeks though they could possibly start breeding. around 6 weeks is when they may fight if they dislike eachother.
Yes, it'd be best for the new hamster who is coming in to the cage. And would be much more sanitary.
No.....................Dont do that they will fight and try to kill each other
Find where your hamster is escaping from its cage and duct tape it or buy it a new cage.
Yes unless another hamster has lived in it before. The best thing to do is to switch cages from time to time with your hamster if you buy a new cage. So he can get used to the newer cage while being in his or hers normal habitat. If you just want a hamster wonderland than i recomend buying another cage with some tubes to connect the cages.
If the cage is too small take it back and get a new one! Never get anything hamster for a guinea pig. If you have a small cage then that means you got a hamster cage.
No you can't I tried to but it didn't work so I got a new cage
NO! they will fight and end up hurting each other. If it is a boy hamster and the other is a girl it might be ok but it will be safer to buy another cage.
tell her about the benefits of getting it
