No, they cannot.
Not really. Once he turns 18, he's considered an adult and is free to make those decisions.
Age 17 with parents' permission, 18 without.
They could go into the army at age 18 at about the time of the civil war
18 years old or 17 with parents permission.
You have to be 18 unless the parents agree to it.
18 is the the age where you are no longer considered a minor in the USA. Any state would allow you to be married at 18, and since you are legally considered an adult your parents cannot stop you.
You have to check with the specific insurance company about the terms of your parents' plan.
If she is below 18 yes. It is up to your parents to decide who you are allowed to meet.
No. The minimum enlistment age for the US Army is 17.5 years old with parent permission and a high school diploma.
If you join at 18 or older, no. You can enlist at 17, but that requires parental consent.
talk to them tell them that it is what you want to do. they are always going to be your parents no matter what. when your old enough to choose weather you want to go or not then its your choice. My main advice do what you want to do, my mum always wanted to be in the royal air force but her parents wouldn't let her, now she works in an office. If you think its the best thing for you to do then do it! If your under 18 and your parent forbid you to join the chances are they wont sign your papers alowing you to join to which you will have to wait till you 18. Other wise it depends on your need to join, if your parents are against it you will have to go against them to which I say... its your life, you only live once. Your parents will understand if you join and will not disown you even if their against you joining. Its a great career and I recommend you joining. You may not know but you can quit at any time during basic training and the first 6 months of joining, if you emphasise this to your parents they may not be as concerned for you in knowing you can quit if its not for you.
