Of course. It would depend upon your general health. A Wisdom tooth extraction is normally done under general anesthesia --- the oral surgeon must decide whether or not you're a candidate for "general". If you have, for example, a Mitrial Valve Prolapse, or any other medical problems, then he or she may choose local anesthesia. Not the best of choices --- but you'll survive. Don't worry about it. It's the oral surgeon's problem. Not yours. JIM
i once had a patient with full dentures and about 70 years young complain of tooth ache. it took some convincing by him for me to agree to x ray him. lo and behold - a wisdom was cracking.

Yes! I have never heard of it before until at the age of 50, three of my wisdom teeth came in. One never did come in. It was painful but I am not having them removed and they are fine.
Not possible to have the wisdom teeth at age 63.

I am 48 years old and I am now getting my fourth wisdom tooth.
maybe some people are not sure of it maybe you bit your gum or something. Yesterday, my dental X-rays found a new wisdom tooth growing in my jaw. I am 53 years old. Is this a common occurence?
yes it depends on growth and health ,an 8 year old can grow wisdom tooth
9 years old
Your wisdom teeth will normally come through at any time between the ages of 14 and 30. However, there have been cases where they have not come through until over 70 or 80 years old. Also, some people will never get their wisdom teeth through.
You can, but it is not likely. Not many people even have have their wisdom teeth at that age. Most people have their wisdom teeth extracted when they are nearly done with highschool (16-19 years old). Your doctor may not want to remove your yet even if you do have them. I am 12 years old. I have my wisdom teeth, and I am getting them pulled out next month. It is possible to get your wisdom teeth that young i am living proof. =)
There isn't much of an answer to that. They can grow at any time in your life my sister is ten years old and she already has a wisdom tooth and my dad is 50 and he has had none. Hope this helps you !
Sure it can!! It depends on the individual, sometimes it might even come when you are arround 18 years old! It is normal it is coming up now...take care,it hurts!
Yes, they can be and should be removed. The only reason it's suggested to get them out when you are younger is because you are more likely to recover faster and there is less chance of caries. If you have cavity on a tooth, it should be treated, either by repairing the tooth, or in cases of semi-impacted wisdom teeth, the tooth should be extracted.
I am 20 years old,i have placed braces on the upper mandible. My lower left wisdom tooth was removed in the beginning of the treatment because it grew to the seventh tooth. What should i do?To Pull out left side wisdom tooth before placing the lower mandible braces,or to put the braces and after the treatment to pull it out (daemon system self-ligating)
