No - because if you think one blade of grass has a little bit of biomass, then if you think of how may blades of grass in a field all together there is loads of biomass, they could never consume all the biomass as there is too much.
First of all, zebras do not eat meat they eat grass and flowers and things like that........
if you mean leaves than giraffes, zebras, and caterpillars. all eat leaves. (zebras eat grass but its the same)
All the grass and trees in your yard are biomass. The term, today, means living or recently living plants. So, yes.
Zebras are horsey like animals with black and white stripes. They eat pretty much everything horses eat, leaves, grass and all that stuff.
Quaggas eat the same as zebras (carrots, grass, and all other vegatables.) They are vegetarians.
Oh my God. Zebras do not produce food through photosynthesis. They cannot produce their own food at all. They eat grass. They are not plants.
Zebras survive their environment by living near big ponds and tall grass savannahs. They graze on grasses, tender leaves, shrubs, and tree bark. When predators draw near, they RUN.
A zebra's main predator is the Lion, but it's vertical and horizantal stripes camoflage it in tall grass. How? simple! All lions are color blind, so all they see is a bunch of grass!
grasshoppers eat wild grasses and other plants by maria
Biomass is the total amount of all living material in a given area. Example- the total biomass in 1 cubic foot of your lawn would most likely include grass, worms, insects, and maybe some fungi. Biomass is also used to describe fuel sources from living or recently living organisms. Wood, waste fuels, and alcohol fuels are all examples of this kind of biomass.
Zebras are pure and exclusive Herbivores. They feed almost entirely on the grasses in their habitat. Occassionally they may feed on shrubs, herbs, twigs and even bark. They spend most of their time walking around their habitat in search of fresh grass and water. Like all herbivores, they also have a requirement to drink water atleast once every day.
They don't turn grass into meat!! They turn it into ENERGY by eating it. _________________________ The energy is wasted in execration, respiration etc. Not all the energy is consumed as biomass on the sheep.
