Depends on what year and engine. A lot of them will have primary and secondary fuel filters.. the secondary will usually be a canister filter, regardless of engine make, while the primary can be either a canister or a Davco fuel filter.
For canister filters, take them off with a filter wrench, fill the new filters with fuel, lubricate the gasket with some diesel fuel.. hand tighten them, then turn them 3/4 of a turn more with the filter wrench.
