Change heater core for 1980 Chevy El Camino?

i replaced it on my el camino, there should be a black cap on the passerger side right in front off the windshield under the hood, take ot the screws and you might need something flat and you take it and shove it under a corner and pop it off, make sure you undo the hozes and stuff, then the heater core should be right under the back plastic plate, the all you have to do is pull out the heater core.
