Red blood cells (RBC) are roundly shaped and have an indent in the middle (like a donut) but no hole. The indent is to increase the surface area of the RBC, thus, making the RBC highly efficient. The function of a RBC is to carry oxygen and other needed nutrients to specific areas of the human body, also is certain parts of the body, carry waste from an area to the liver.
Population and size. The red blood cells are used to carry oxygen to all parts of the body. So, the size of the blood cells and the number or population of the blood cells help carry the MOST oxygen possible to all parts of the body.
Three attributes of red blood cells are:
1. contain haemoglobin
2. their biconcave disc-shape provide high ratio of surface area to volume, which improve their interactive with other cell
3. no nucleus which provide them more 'room' to carry oxygen
Red blood cells have several different characteristics. They have a strange shape, have no nucleus, can change shape, and contain hemoglobin.
The function of the red blood cell
All cells have a specialized function in the body, so it would depend on where the cell was and what the cell is doing. Blood is actually a clear serum, and red blood cells give it its predominant color, while white blood cells are translucent in suspension.
a group of cells that specialize to perform a function is known as a tissue e.g., Xylem is a water conducting tissue of higher plants comprising mainly of parechyma, companian cell and vessels.
it makes your bone grow good and strong!
Atoms make up everything. You may be thinking of cells. As far as cells, red blood cells and white blood cells make up blood.
Red blood cells, or erythrocytes, are the most common blood cells. They deliver oxygen to the body tissues through the blood flow and circulatory system. These cells' cytoplasm contain alot of hemoglobin, an iron-containing biomolecule that binds oxygen, and is what makes the blood's red color. The cell membrane is made of PROTEINS and lipids, which provides properties essential for physiological cell function (like deformability and stability) while traversing the circulatory system.

tissues are group of cell that perform a specific similar function.
Collections of similar cells which work together.
A group of cells that perform a particular function in the body are tissues. (Or tissue)
Arteries helps in carrying oxygenated blood from heart to different tissues of body.
The only blood cells that function entirely within the blood vessels are red blood cells.
Red blood cells is because it has no nucleus
tissur
neuroglia cells
The function of the white blood cells is to aid in healing. These white blood cells are a huge part of the immune system.
A tissue is many cells (which perform a similar function) joined together to perform a task
