I love swimming in Brockwell Park's Lido - loads of fun!
It's pretty cheap but only open in summer, since it's an open air.
The nearest tube station is Brixton and the nearest overland is Herne Hill.

It does depend what you enjoy; the London Eye is quite a good start as you get a overview of the city. There are bus tours of the city which will give a feel of the history. The museums are excellent - world class and mostly free! London Zoo is often called the best zoo in the world. Have fun!
