There are a few really cheap weighs to drop one. The first is to cut the springs in the front and pull some leafs out of the back(free option). The next is to cut the springs in the front and put blocks in the back(up to four inch drop in back about $50). Then you could do it the right way and buy drop spindles for the front and blocks or leafs for the back.

To lower the front easily you can heat up the spring in one central area (do not heat the whole spring) with a torch and the weight of the truck will slowly lower it. Once it starts to lower immediately take the torch away. If you want to lower the truck further repeat this procedure. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to lower the rear end. You'd have to replace the whole entire leaf spring
Clearly Dodge Dakota, because the F150 can't go that fast with a little V6 or V8 and the Dakota has either a V6 or V8 magnum. Actually, the 1992 Dodge Dakota also came equipped with 4 cylinder engines, so without knowing which truck had which engine and which transmission and gear ratios each has, there is no way to tell which would be faster.

The spring side of any thermostat always goes towards the engine.
