Chevy Suburban stalls. where is brain?

I have had several Chevrolet Suburbans. The brain box or formally called the engine control module is located in the dash behind the glove box. Open the door to the glove box and remove the box itself by removing its retaining screws. The module is located at the firewall, just below the top of the dash. Make sure that you are well grounded to prevent static electricity from discharging into the module. Use a static strap or firmly grasp the metal car body as you touch the module. Simply unplug the electrical connectors, undo the retaining clamp, and remove. Installation is the reverse operation.
